Image processing

Image Resizer processes selected image files locally on your device. Images are not intentionally uploaded to an Image Resizer server for resizing, compression, or export. The finished file is created on your device and then downloaded, shared, or exported through the platform tools available in the website, browser extension, Obsidian plugin, or Android app.

Android app

The Image Resizer Android app uses the system image picker so you can choose images from your device. It uses Android sharing features so you can export processed copies. The app does not require an account, does not collect analytics, does not include advertising SDKs, and does not send selected image files to developer servers.

Information the website may receive

Standard hosting infrastructure may receive technical request information such as the requested page, approximate request time, browser type, referring page, and network address. This information can be processed by the hosting provider for security, reliability, and traffic delivery.

Local browser and app data

The current version does not require an account. Image settings are used for the active session. If local preferences, browser storage, app storage, analytics, accounts, or cloud features are added later, this policy should be updated before those features are released.

Cookies and analytics

No advertising or analytics service is described by this policy. If analytics, advertising, or non-essential cookies are introduced, the relevant providers, purposes, retention periods, and consent controls must be added here.

The website and app listings may link to third-party pages. Their privacy practices are controlled by their respective operators. Review the privacy notice of an external service before providing personal information.

Children's privacy

Image Resizer is a general-purpose utility and is not designed to collect personal information from children. Do not use the service to process content when you do not have permission to handle that content.

Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be revised when the website, app, extensions, hosting setup, or data practices change. The date at the top of the page identifies the latest published version.
